Response to Presentations

In the classes’ presentations i liked how the pronunciation of their words were on point. Meaning I didn’t have to ask what was being said. Also they did a good job of explaining their argument and answering any questions about  the topic.

What can be improved and worked on is body language when your presenting. Another thing is that we all had an issue with the connection of our supporting points.

In my presentation I believe I did a good job of using real life scenarios, like the Louisville scandal,  in supporting my argument. Things i think I can improve on is speaking up and louder so that you can hear me feom farther back.

My Topic

My topic is compensation for college athletes. My research question is, “What are the pros and cons of paying college athletes?”. And my claim is that they definitely should receive pay, for putting their bodies on the line, bringing in so mich money for the NCAA, and their commitment to their respective sport and team.

The reason I chose this topic is because, not only is it a hot topic lately, but I so like sports and specifically colleges sports. The audience I am trying to persuade is fans of college sports and the families of those student athletes. Other audiences that might be interested in this topic is people interested in finances.
